On every line that is obstructed, On your own line if your entire train has derailed

If train approaches obstruction, how do you stop the train?

Two hands up stop, Red flag, Detonators, Red light (any light violently), Rail emergency group call, Blast horn in distress

What do you do if a train approaches before you are able to walk full protection distance

place 3 detonators immediately, Display a red flag (or two hands up)

If you have managed to contact the signaller, and they have confirmed the line is protected, do you need to lay emergency protection?

It depends on the situation. Ask the signaller for advice but this is usually TCOC only

When do you not need to walk full protection distance?

Come across telephone linked to signal box. Put down 3 dets and if signaller confirms signal protection is being provided

What do you do if you reach a tunnel entrance before reaching full protection distance? What if full protection distance is inside the tunnel?

Always 3 dets in front of the tunnel, 3 dets other side of the tunnel

Reaching a diverging junction before full protection limit, what must you do?

3 dets before junction, Decide which line next train is most likely to come from and place 3 dets there

Do you have to lay detonators during TBW?

At all times

Where do you put dets before reaching full emergency protection?

Tunnel, Train approaching, Telephone, Junction, Signal box
