MIS or Management Information System is a computer based tool, which plays a crucial role in the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry by enhancing decision-making, streamlining operations and improving customer service. PMS or Property Management System is a generic term used to describe the computer application in managing the interface of various departments in a hotel. It includes the process of reservations, registration, guest accounts, guest check-in and check-out etc.

EMS or Energy Management System is used to keep track of energy consumption. It is a system that monitors and optimize energy usage in hotels

MMS or material management system covers the entire material management operations such as costing, purchase, requirement planning, receiving of stocks etc.
