The motivation for me to go on the advanced engineering course was thatIn addition to the basic knowledge of programming and networking that I learned in the main course, I wanted to learn a wider and deeper range of more applied knowledge in specialized fields in the major course.
2
I believe that in the ever-developing information society, students should not only learn programming-related skills, but should be exposed to many fields and technologies from the time they are students so that they can apply them in the field.
3
Therefore, by entering the advanced engineering course and continuing my studies, I hope to acquire the skills and knowledge to cope with the changes and developments in today's information society and grow as an engineer.
4
In recent years, a technique called data mining has been used to extract information useful for improving learning from data such as student grades generated by educational applications.
5
However, the limited number of learners makes it difficult to adapt the methods used to analyze large data sets, such as web data, and the bias between classes can manifest itself, making it necessary to take into account the characteristics of the data set.
6
This research will examine learning data analysis methods that can be adapted to small numbers of data, while taking into account the relationships and characteristics between each piece of data regarding the usage history of educational applications.
7
What I want to focus on in the advanced engineering course is gaining practical experience and English language skills.
8
In my fourth year of the program, I often failed to cooperate in the implementation of functions because I was not accustomed to group work and did not have the skills to make good use of the knowledge I had learned in the integrated PBL activities.
9
Therefore, I would like to acquire knowledge of more fields by going on to higher education, and learn how to use the knowledge I have acquired through group work in problem-solving classes and long-term internships, and gain the practical skills and experience necessary to become an engineer.
10
In addition, although I worked hard to improve my English language skills in this program, I do not believe that I have reached the level of a working professional who can communicate smoothly with overseas engineers because I did not have much time to study and did not have many opportunities to interact with international students.
11
Therefore, I would like to continue learning English after entering the major and actively interact with international students so that I can use the skills I have gained, such as improving my TOEIC score to 750 points.
12
In the regular course, I have been able to balance my studies and my soft tennis club activities with the ability to keep on doing things and the positive attitude to improve.
13
In my studies, my goals were to achieve an average score of at least 90 points in each subject and to be ranked in the top 10 in my grade. I was motivated to study hard on my own, and I also worked hard in my daily club activities so that I could participate in competitions and achieve good results.
14
Especially in club activities, I have paired up with junior members in competitions, As treasurer, I have worked closely with the department heads and advisors.
15
I will not be satisfied with my current situation and will continue to grow as an engineer.
16
My interest is in the development of VR technology.
17
VR is a system that allows users to experience a computer-generated virtual space as if it were reality.
18
VR has often been used for hobbies such as games and movies, but with the development of technology, it has recently been attracting attention as a tool for solving issues in Japan, such as disaster prevention education and nursing care education, recognizing that it is a good tool to experience efficient education.
19
The Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred in January was the first time in the world that VR was used to share disaster information using stereoscopic images, and we expect to see more and more examples of this kind of use.
