The health & safety committee - responsible for the health & safety policy, chief officers - set budgets, guidance notices for health & safety policy, central staff officers - undertake staff training, supervisors & managers - responsible for health & safety matter in own areas, Employees - should be given written copy of health & safety manual

Immediate Response - take immediate action to mitigate any immediate risks Reporting the issue - encourage reports to be done as dooms as employees become aware assessment & investigation - investigate the issue and understand the route cause & severity. gather information from witnesses etc Risk evaluation - asses level of risk posed by the issue, potential impact on employee health & safety implement temporary controls - minimise risk develop corrective actions - develop plan to address the issues communicate with stakeholders - keep employees informed, transparency & clear communication monitor & review - effectiveness of the corrective actions Documentation & record keeping - keep records of all steps follow up & feedback - ensure issues have been adequately resolved
