현재 시제의 용법

현재의 사실 현재의 습관 불변의 진리 미래의 대용 시간과 조건을 나타내는 부사절에서 현재는 미래를 나타낸다. 역사적 사실 옛 사람, 옛 책에 쓰인 말을 인용할 때 현재형을 쓰면 생생한 표현이 된다.

미래의 대용/ 왕래 발착 동사 come, arrvie, depart, go ,leave, meet, start, return, sail, ride

과거의 습관적 동작

과거형이 과거완료를 대용.

The thieves got away before the police arrived. 접속사 before가 시간의 순서를 나타내기 때문에 대용이 가능함.

진행형은 순간적인 동작의 계속의 뜻 외에 습관, 반복을 의미할 수 있다.

성질 습관 -Mary is always complaining about something 일시적 동작의 반복 -We are having supper at nine this week. 미래를 나타낸다. -Where are you spending your next summer vacation? 지각, 감정, 소유, 상태를 나타내는 동사(know, love, see, have, resemble 등)는 진행형을 못 쓴다. -I was seeing a friend of mine off when you saw me at the airport.

be going to의 용법

The ice is going to crack His new film is going to be a great success. My mother is going to buy some groceries.

just는 현재완료, just now는 과거와 함께 쓰지만 구어체에서는 혼용

I finished it just now. I have just finished it.

Yet은 의문문,부정문, already는 긍정문에 쓰인다.
